So close but so distant

Experiments have shown that anyone can reach anyone else, anywhere in the planet through a chain of acquaintances no more than six people long. This theory is known as 'six degrees of separation'.
Maybe it's a myth, maybe not but in any case, I'm happy to believe in such a small world.
There is a film within the concept of 6 degrees, check it out.

If we are only six degrees of separation why can't we see it?
We live in such a small world, we are all so closely interrelated but we still feel so distant from each other. We are all made of the same row materials, we are part of one and the same thing: this world. We are more similar than different. Yet, we choose to focus on our differences. We may have different colors, shapes, dreams and desires but we all belong to the same system, sharing the same sky and sun, searching for the same things: love, emotions, people, truth, exploration of the unknown. We all head in same direction: survival. To collaborate is to serve ourselves, to fight each other is to serve those who want us separated in order to rule us.
